Our client is a small social impact start-up based in Switzerland that aims to connect human potential worldwide with a unique combination of digital social networking and offline events. The small, international IT team is responsible for developing and operating the app and web version, including connecting services such as messenger or booking and payment systems in the backend. 

For the further expansion of the digital solution, we are looking for an IT all-rounder who is willing to familiarise themselves thoroughly with all aspects of the product and proactively take on all tasks related to quality assurance, customer support, monitoring and product development. We believe that the title 

Technical Product Operations Manager (f/m/d)

accurately describes the diverse aspects of the role.

 

Your varied tasks:

Quality Assurance & Testing: 

  • Conduct Product Owner Reviews (detailed testing) of completed tasks in Jira
  • Systematic bug hunting in app and web ecosystem (landing pages, booking/payment flow, admin interface)
  • Create bug reports and specify technical tasks (in collaboration with development teams) 

Information Management & Operations: 

  • Aggregate and evaluate information from diverse channels (own app, Telegram, email, customer feedback, provider communication, market analysis)
  • Derive and implement appropriate actions
  • First-level customer support with technical focus
  • Maintain and expand product documentation in Confluence  

System-Monitoring & Performance: 

  • Monitor performance and availability of critical systems (Email/Postmark, SMS/Twilio, Firebase, Server/Hetzner, AI/OpenRouter)
  • Proactive identification and escalation of system issues 

Content & UX Quality Assurance: 

  • Review and consistency check of UI texts (ideally both English and German)
  • Optimize onboarding flows and tutorial content
  • Update help documentation / FAQ
  • Comprehensibility checks for diverse user groups (across age groups and interests) 

Product Intelligence: 

  • Structured collection and categorization of user feedback
  • Support feature prioritization
  • Initial technical feasibility assessments

Administrative Responsibility: 

  • Monitor and control ongoing costs
  • Manage access rights and permissions

Technical Requirements: 

  • Foundational understanding of modern tech stacks and infrastructure: NestJS, Node.js, Flutter, Apache, PostgreSQL, DNS, SSL certificates
  • Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts, dive deeper when needed, and troubleshoot independently
  • Experience with agile development processes and tools (Jira, Confluence)
